Parts Delivery Driver Position Overview

The Nuss Parts Delivery Driver position in Rochester, MN, entails delivering parts and supplies to regional customers and picking up parts and equipment for the dealership. The role requires full-time day shift work from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key duties include delivering parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors, as well as picking up parts from these locations. Drivers are expected to unload their truck each night, turn in paperwork and undelivered parts daily, drive professionally, maintain the professional appearance of the parts department, and may also train and oversee apprentices or interns.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, and some previous customer service experience. Essential skills and abilities include reading and comprehending instructions in English, maintaining a valid driver’s license and Health Card, having a clean driving record, using a computer and calculator, driving and operating a forklift, and communicating effectively in English. This physically demanding position involves driving company vehicles for six to ten hours per shift, lifting parts weighing up to or exceeding 70 pounds, and exposure to noise, dust, and exhaust fumes. Uniforms provided by the dealership must be worn at all times.

Parts Customer Support Manager Position Overview

The Customer Support Manager (CSM) position at Nuss in Sauk Rapids, MN, focuses on representing the dealership to current and potential customers by aligning our products and services with their needs. The role involves promoting and selling heavy-duty truck and equipment parts and services, responding to technical inquiries, managing customer relationships, and providing product updates. Key responsibilities include handling communications via phone, email, and in-person, following up on quotes for parts and services, and using a CRM database to track sales activity.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, and five years of industry parts and service experience. Essential skills include technical knowledge of 2007 and newer trucks and construction equipment, excellent customer service and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and web applications. A valid driver’s license is required, with a CDL preferred. The CSM is expected to work autonomously, maintain a flexible schedule, and assist the Parts Department as needed. Regular tasks also include meeting with customers, troubleshooting problems, submitting reports, and maintaining the company vehicle.
