Nuss Truck & Equipment is seeking a skilled Field Service Diesel Mechanic / Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment directly at customer job sites. This role requires strong technical expertise, independent problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and customer service.
As a field technician, you’ll work on compactors, excavators, loaders, dozers, and other heavy machinery—performing diagnostics, major repairs, and preventive maintenance while representing Nuss with professionalism in the field. As a Field Service / Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic / Technician you will diagnose, repair or overhaul, and maintain heavy construction equipment in the field. Equipment includes compactors, excavators, loaders, dozers, and other heavy construction equipment. Major components and parts include; diesel engines and power plants, hydraulic, electrical, computer / software, and body / structural items.
