Nuss Collection Brings Rare Mack Trucks to the “Greatest Antique Truck Show on Earth”
Macungie, PA – June 8, 2025 — The Nuss Collection is proud to announce its participation in the 2025 ATCA National Meet in Macungie, Pennsylvania, taking place Father’s Day weekend, June 14–15, at Macungie Memorial Park.
This year, the Nuss Collection will showcase two historical standouts from its museum fleet:
🔹 1918 Mack AC “Bulldog” Truck – A World War I-era powerhouse, the Mack AC played a critical role in shaping military logistics. Although this specific unit was never deployed overseas, its heavy-duty chain drive, robust design, and war-ready stance earned the Mack AC a legendary reputation. British troops famously dubbed it the “Bulldog Truck,” a nickname that eventually inspired Mack’s iconic Bulldog hood ornament, now a global symbol of durability.
🔹 1923 Mack AB Jail Cell Truck – A one-of-a-kind custom restoration, this truck captures attention wherever it goes. Painstakingly rebuilt by the skilled craftsmen at the Nuss Body Shop in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, it showcases the creativity, precision, and pride behind every Nuss restoration project.
The ATCA National Meet, hosted annually by the Antique Truck Club of America, is widely regarded as the “Greatest Antique Truck Show on Earth.” With hundreds of trucks on display, a bustling truck-themed flea market, and a nationwide community of collectors, families, and enthusiasts, the Macungie show is a bucket-list experience for anyone passionate about American trucking heritage.
“We’re honored to take part in this incredible event and share these pieces of living history,” said Bob Nuss, founder of the Nuss Collection. “From the battlefield to the body shop, every truck has a story—and we’re here to tell it.”
The event is open to the public and family-friendly. For details and registration, visit:
