Nuss Collision Center Painter Haylie Colby Earns National Industry Recognition

Haylie Colby, painter at our East Bethel Collision Center, has been named the inaugural recipient of the Women’s Industry Network (WIN) Founding Mothers Award—a national honor recognizing excellence, leadership, and commitment to the craft of collision repair.

This award highlights technicians and painters who are actively working on the shop floor while demonstrating exceptional skill, mentorship, and dedication to the industry.

Built on Skill, Precision, and Growth

In just three years, Haylie has established herself as a top-performing painter at Nuss. Starting part-time and quickly advancing into a full-time role, she has built a reputation for:

  • High-quality finishes and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and accountability
  • Continued learning and technical growth

She has expanded her role beyond daily production—taking on responsibilities like managing paint inventory and helping train others in the shop.

Leading by Example

Haylie’s impact goes beyond her work.

As one of the few women in the shop, she plays an important role in supporting her teammates and helping create an environment where others feel welcomed into the trade. Her leadership, attitude, and willingness to step up reflect what we value across all Nuss locations.

Recognized Across the Industry

The WIN Founding Mothers Award was created to recognize individuals who represent the future of collision repair—those who are actively building their craft while helping others succeed.

As part of the award, Haylie will receive:

She will be honored at the 2026 WIN Annual Conference in Tucson, Arizona.
